Dear Colleagues,
It’s a great privilege and an honor for me as the Deep Dive 2022 conference Chair to welcome you to the 4th National Annual Family Medicine Review and Update Conference! Every year we hold this 4-day comprehensive review and update course aiming to cover all clinical aspects of Family Medicine and Primary Care. For the past couple of years, we’ve gone virtual due to the pandemic, but we’re back now and we’re bigger and better than before.
This year’s Deep Dive will be held from June 1-4, at Sheraton Hotel- Dammam. This 4-day course was developed by highly qualified Family Medicine physicians, and organized by primary care providers doctors, residents, and interns.
We aim, through this conference, to review the common problems and chronic conditions in Family Medicine and Primary Care, and provide a practical approach to their prevention, evaluation, and treatment. The sessions this year will be symptom based rather than system based, mimicking the nature of our everyday clinics. Not only so, but they will be presented by a highly qualified group of physicians, all SCFHS certified Family Medicine consultants and specialists, trainers and practicing clinicians.
We have a few special additions to our program this year! We’re excited to share with you that this year’s Deep Dive offers 6 educational workshops embedded into each day. As well as a review and summary of high yield must-read articles presented by residents from different programs across the nation. Last but certainly not least, we’ll be joined by outstanding leaders in the field to share some inspirational speeches highlighting different aspects of the era of transformation Primary Care and Family Medicine are currently undergoing.
Moreover, an equally exciting event will be run out of Deep Dive 2022, and all of our audience is welcome to attend. That is the recognition ceremony for the soft release of the E-guide Family Medicine: The Essentials 2nd Edition, the first national resource in Family Medicine and Primary Care.
Deep Dive is the venue where highly qualified Family Medicine consultants and specialists, Family Medicine residents, interested interns and medical students from across the nation are all gathered, offering a unique opportunity to meet and hear from leaders, interact with peers, and share in the experience.
This is not only the conference for Family Medicine, but we see it as an important milestone in the transformation of healthcare, starting at its base and core: Primary Care. It is our promise to work hard and keep Deep Dive as your choice and reference conference in Family Medicine and Primary Care.
